Gabriel Urrutia is elevating cocktail culture in Miami

In his new role, Urrutia will be responsible for educating the trade and students alike about the rich history and unique flavor profile of Brugal 1888 Rum.

Urrutia brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his role as Brugal 1888 Rum Ambassador. As a Professor at the Chaplin School Hospitality and Tourism Management at Florida International University, Urrutia has been teaching students about the world of spirits for over a decade. His expertise in the field of hospitality and tourism management, along with his passion for spirits, makes him the perfect candidate to represent Brugal 1888 Rum.

As the Brugal 1888 Rum Ambassador, Urrutia will be traveling to events and trade shows across the country, where he will be sharing his knowledge of Brugal 1888 Rum with industry professionals and enthusiasts alike. He will be hosting tastings, seminars, and workshops that will provide attendees with a deep understanding of the unique flavor profile of this exceptional rum.

As the Brugal 1888 Rum Ambassador, Urrutia will be working closely with bartenders and mixologists to help them create innovative cocktails using Brugal 1888 Rum. He will be sharing his knowledge of mixology and the art of cocktail making, as well as providing tips on how to pair the unique flavors of Brugal 1888 Rum with different foods and flavors.
