This “Fucket Bucket” Invention May Be The Solution to Your Kids’ Messes
Jessica McGinty has no shame in tossing away toys her children refuse to clean up, and we applaud her for it.
Despite what our children may think, moms aren’t maids—we dream of a clean home without fuss and fight. That is why mom Jessica McGinty posted her hilarious solution to kid-induced messiness to her Facebook page, Mishmash Moments. She calls it the “fucket bucket” and it’s a clean-up system all parents should seriously consider implementing.
“If they leave it laying around, it goes in their bucket. If it’s still there at bedtime it goes in the bin because fucket if I’m cleaning it up,” McGinty wrote alongside some a photo of toys in bins in what seems to be a very clean room.
All is fair when it comes to household chores right? We love how McGinty allows her children the day to collect their toys without leaving her home a mess, but if that toy isn’t in its rightful spot by EOD it’s gone for good. A system with a short learning curve for kids is a reliable system and her Facebook followers agree.
Considering this post received over 43K likes, 25K comments, and 28,000 shares, we have the feeling the “fucket bucket” is going to find its way into many homes.
